1957
Fuji Kogyo founded in Shizuoka City, Japan.
Our first chippers were designed for sawmill waste.
1958
Incorporated as Fuji Kogyo Co., Ltd.
1967
First sawmill equipment produced.
1969
Factory and Head Office relocated to present site.
1970
Agreement with Anglo Paper Products of Canada to manufacture drum chippers under license.
1977
Production and marketing of the popular and long-selling 'King' series of log debarkers and chippers begins.
1980
First waste processing equipment manufactured and sold.
The 'SP' range of shredders goes on the market and is geared towards the shredding of wood demolition waste.
1983
Development of the Fujicon U concrete crushers.
1990
Southern Cross Engineering of New Zealand becomes a licensee for the production of Fuji ring debarkers.
1991
First full plant for the processing of mixed construction waste installed in Shizuoka City.
Shred Pax secondary shredder imported from the United States.
1993
CAE Machinery (now Carmanah) of Vancouver, Canada becomes a licensee for the production of the 'King Barker' series log debarkers.
1994
Expansion of factory.
1997
Expansion of head office.
2003
Starting of dealing-in pellet presses of flat die type in Japan.
2004
Agreement signed with IFE GmbH of Austria for the import and sale of IFE screens in Japan.
