Agreement with Anglo Paper Products of Canada to manufacture drum chippers

Production and marketing of the popular and long-selling 'King' series
of log debarkers and chippers begins. |

First waste processing equipment manufactured and sold. The 'SP' range of shredders goes on the market and is geared towards the shredding of wood demolition waste. |

Development of the Fujicon U concrete crushers. |

Southern Cross Engineering of New Zealand becomes a licensee for the production
of Fuji ring debarkers. |

First full plant for the processing of mixed construction waste installed
in Shizuoka City. Shred Pax secondary shredder imported from the United States. |

CAE Machinery (now Carmanah) of Vancouver, Canada becomes a licensee for the production of the 'King Barker' series log debarkers. |
